Palatable Pancakes 

Having tried Sweetpea Pantry’s Grainy Brainy pancakes, I think it is fair to say that these are a guilt free treat, that are actually delicious.

Containing only brown rice flour, tapioca flour, buckwheat flour, flax seeds, baking powder, quinoa flour and teff flour, this pancake mix contains no sugar, salt or any nasties. The mix is made from whole grains which will keep you full for longer, making these pancakes the perfect breakfast.

I paired mine with strawberries and blueberries and a little drizzle of maple syrup and devoured them in no time.

All you need to do to make this mix into a wonderful, delicious, fluffy stack of pancakes is add roughly 1 1/2 to 2 cups of oat milk or any non-dairy milk of your choosing, start by adding 1 cup and then stir, gradually add a little more at a time until a good batter consistency has been achieved.

I used coconut oil to a pan on a low to medium heat and then added the batter, flipping the pancake when bubbles could be seen on the top.

These were absolutely delicious, they had such a wholesome flavour, amazing with fruit and as I say, these kept me full until lunchtime easily, they take minutes to cook. Perfect for a weekend breakfast treat!
